Hey guys,
I always see stupid posts on this forum that have nothing to do with anything, so I decided to make my own too.
Don't read material.
Go out and practise
Ive been hearing a interesting quote again and again "He who dares, wins".
I have no idea where this quote came from, or even if its a popular quote at all. But whenever im playing poker, I hear someone saying this.
An old man kept saying this to me over the poker table as I continued to slowly take all his money.
This quote, is perhaps... One of the best expressions I've heard, and can be directly related to game.
"He who dares, wins."
I was out gaming last night, focusing on SNLs as I can't be fucked with numbers anymore. I suddenly realised I hadn't even had any sloppy drunken make-outs at this point.
I thought for a second, had I tried going in for the kclose? No.
Then it came to me...
"He who dares... Wins."
Suddenly I start opening and going in for kcloses and getting a few sloppy drunken makeouts. Nothing special I know, but the one quote helped me.
You have to take the risk, in order to gain the reward.
It can be applied to everywhere in game:
- Opening
- N-Closing
- K-Closing
- Instant dating
- SNLing
- F-Closing
Hope this quote inspired you guys, as it did with me...
All game, and life alike is... Is risk taking.

some statistics on the tiger (shiraz sultan):
- been in the community for 5 years
- only got 1 lay

he wrote that in theplace.bz that he was frustrated after being in the community for so long (5 years), he only got one lay.. then one guy asked him "wtf dude, i thought you had more success than just one lay" or something like that.
